Job summary

Buckley Consulting LLP in Greater London is seeking a trusted professional to join its private client team. You will manage a growing portfolio of onshore and offshore trusts and estates, delivering accounts preparation, trust returns, and advisory reports.

You will work closely with partners and directors, mentor junior staff, and help drive a responsive, merit-based promotion track as the private client team expands.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private client trusts and estates, including onshore and offshore arrangements.
• Provide management responsibility for junior team members and mentor staff.
• Liaise effectively with clients and professional intermediaries; contribute to advisory work and wealth management reports.

Job description

This highly respected firm, well known for the quality of its private client offering, is looking to add further expertise to its growing trust department.

The client base is a mix of large and complex on and offshore trusts and estates, and the firm offers the full range of trust services, including:

• Accounts preparation and administration.
• The preparation and review of trust returns.
• Charitable and estate trust creation.
• Advisory work including the preparation of reports on the management of wealth and the suitability of various trust arrangements.

You will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients as well as having management responsibility for more junior members of the team so the ability to liaise effectively with clients and professional intermediaries as well as mentoring and coaching your team is essential.

The firm is looking for someone who can work closely with the partners and directors to offer a highly responsive service. There is plenty of scope for rapid advancement. The private client team is going from strength to strength and promotions are entirely based on merit.
