Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment partners with a growing Top 30 professional services firm to recruit a Manager for the Private Client Trusts team in London. You will manage a diverse portfolio of UK and offshore trusts and advise high-net-worth clients and trustees both in the UK and internationally.

You will review trust accounts and tax returns, provide strategic tax planning, and lead a small team while contributing to business development and client relationship management.

Qualifications

• CTA qualification; STEP beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of UK trust tax legislation.
• Experience managing UK and offshore trust clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with CCH and Digita desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of UK and offshore trust clients.

• Advise trustees and beneficiaries on distributions and UK reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC Trust Registration Service rules.
• Draft and review advisory reports on UK and offshore trust structures.
• Provide strategic tax planning advice and identify new opportunities with existing clients.
• Supervise, coach, and develop junior staff.
• Contribute to business development, proposals, and networking activities.

My client is a growing Top 30 professional services firm with a dynamic Private Client team, including a specialist Trusts function. The Trusts sub-team is expanding and is seeking a Manager to support the management and growth of a diverse portfolio of UK and offshore trusts, advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and trustees both in the UK and internationally.
