Job summary

Taxation, a prominent London accountancy firm, seeks a Trusts Senior to advise HNW families, their trusts and estates. You will join a team of Trusts professionals ensuring accurate annual tax and accounts compliance for a portfolio of high-net-worth trusts.

You’ll prepare and review trust and estate returns, trust accounts and related administration. You'll work with directors and partners on ad hoc trust planning opportunities and develop as a trusted adviser.

Qualifications

• Qualified in tax, trusts or accounting.
• Experience handling a high net worth trusts portfolio.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.

Job description

Prominent London accountancy firm seeks a Trusts Senior to advise HNW families, their trusts and estates.

You\'ll join a team of Trusts professionals, tasked with ensuring that the annual tax and accounts compliance on a portfolio of HNW trusts is completed effectively. The role will involve the preparation and review of trust and estate returns, trust accounts and associated administration. You\'ll also assist directors and partners with identifying and advising on ad hoc trust planning opportunities.

This is very much a third-party and client-facing role, providing an opportunity to become a true trusted adviser. So strong communication and relationship management skills are important.

The successful candidate is likely to be tax, trusts or accounting qualified and will certainly have demonstrable experience of handling a HNW trusts portfolio.

Based in central London, the role offers the scope to work from home 2-3 days a week. Salary dependent on experience but c.£40k-£50k + bens. The team are also keen to support the incoming individual with progression towards Manager grade. Ref 709
