The Pinnacle Learning Trust is seeking a Trust Estates Maintenance Officer to join our Estates team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role supports the upkeep and improvement of our school sites to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

We are looking for someone reliable with suitable premises maintenance experience and a commitment to safeguarding. Closing date: 12pm 28 September 2026; provisional interview 2 October 2026.

  • Provide routine building maintenance and development of the site.
  • Carry out janitorial tasks and assist in security arrangements as required.

Trust Estates Maintenance Officer

Full time, 36 hours and 40 mins per week, Monday - Friday. Full year, permanent. To commence as soon as possible.

Salary: Points 11-14 on the Support Staff pay spine which is currently £28,634 - £31,324

We are looking for a reliable and committed individual with some experience of premises maintenance.

The main purpose of the role is to assist in the provision of an outstanding, safe, secure, well-maintained, clean, attractive and sustainable working environment for our Trust children and young people, students, staff and visitors. The main duties of this role will be to provide routine building maintenance and development of the site together with janitorial tasks and assist in the provision of security arrangements within the Trust if required.

The Pinnacle Learning Trust was established in 2017 as a result of the long-standing, strong and effective relationship between The Hathershaw College and Oldham Sixth Form College. Werneth Primary School joined our Trust in February 2019 and Broadfield Primary School in April 2023 and most recently, Alexandra Park junior School in April 2024.
