Trust Doctor ST3+ in Rheumatology
The post is available as soon as possible for a fixed term of 12 months. This post would suit doctors who have a keen interest in Rheumatology and there will be opportunities for further experience, teaching, and quality improvement work. The post is an ideal opportunity for a post MRCP candidate looking to take a future post in Rheumatology.
The successful candidate will join a busy department consisting of 7 consultants and our multi-disciplinary team.

Supervision: the post-holder will act under the supervision of one of the consultant colleagues; each day (aside from during consultant annual leave) there is at least one consultant on site who will additionally be doing clinic in the morning and associated tasks in the afternoon. The post-holder will be expected to discuss cases seen and review management plans with consultants, and ward in-reach reviews will also be discussed or reviewed together with the consultant of the day. On the rare occasion there is no supervising consultant on-site at PRH the post-holder will report via telephone or MS teams to one of the other Rheumatology consultants based at RSCH for guidance.
