The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a permanent post within our established Plastics team. The role involves clerking routine and emergency admissions, arranging investigations, and attending ward rounds with Consultants and Registrars.
You will monitor patient progress and assist in Theatre operations as part of the plastics service. You will participate in a 1 in 8 on-call rota between ENT and Plastic Surgery.
This involves clerking routine and emergency admissions, and ensuring that appropriate investigations are carried out, attending Consultants' and Registrars' ward rounds, monitoring the progress of patients, assisting in Theatre operations, and taking an active part in Plastics. Patients to be admitted for surgery are seen for pre-operative assessment by the Junior Specialty Trainees/Trust Doctor one to two weeks before admission in dedicated clinics
