Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust Whipps Cross Hospital is seeking a full-time general surgery registrar to join our team. You will gain hands-on experience in elective surgery, spend time in clinic and theatre, and contribute to elective lower GI cancer clinics while developing your skills.

This role focuses on elective practice with GMC registration and MRCS/FRCS training, in a supportive environment within our WeCare values.

Qualifications

• Completion of ST2 level or equivalent.
• Experience of Clinical Audit.
• GMC registration and surgical training (MRCS/FRCS).

We're looking for a full-time general surgery registrar to join our team and build your skills in elective surgery and elective lower GI cancer clinics. You'll spend your time in clinic and theatre, seeing patients before and after their operations and gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of planned general surgery.

Main duties of the job

This post has limited exposure to emergency work, so it suits someone who wants to focus on elective practice, with time to learn and be supported.
