A healthcare provider is looking for a Foundation Year 3 equivalent Trust Grade doctor in Paediatrics. This role involves daily patient care, ward rounds, and discharge planning. Applicants must have full GMC registration and relevant postgraduate experience. Various contract options are available, including full-time and part-time roles. The position starts from February 2026, with a fixed-term contract lasting six months.

We currently have an opportunity for a Foundation Year 3 (FY3) equivalent Trust Grade doctor in Paediatrics to support the medical team on a fixed term basis. We have full and part time roles available and the FY3 doctor attached to Paediatrics will share responsibility for patients under all consultants on the wards with the other junior doctors working that day.

A fixed term contract to commence from February 2026 until August 2026 as well as another fixed term contract to commence from March 2026 until September 2026. Pay: ST/CT1 (MT03) with enhancements equivalent to doctors in training determined by the agreed rota; other terms and conditions will also mirror those for doctors in training.
We would consider supporting some non‑clinical time e.g. student teaching/simulation/QI project etc; this will need to be discussed and agreed at interview.
