A leading UK healthcare provider is seeking a Junior Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics from December 2025 to March 2026. This role involves managing general paediatric inpatients, liaising with multidisciplinary teams, and offers opportunities for subspecialty experience. Ideal candidates should possess basic medical qualifications and previous paediatric experience. The salary ranges from £44,170 to £50,175 annually, and full GMC registration is required.
Paediatric fellowship – December 2025 to March 2026 (with possibility of extension). We are excited to announce a Junior clinical fellow (ST1‑3 equivalent) post in paediatrics.
The successful candidate will have the following subspecialty choice: General Paediatrics. This job covers training post vacancies and will last 4 months, with possible extension based on clinical performance.
Paediatric trainees wanting further subspecialty experience; foundation trainees FY3; trainees out of programme seeking sub‑specialty experience before GRID; and overseas paediatric trainees.

The General paediatric firm comprises 10 FTE consultants, 3 GPVTS trainees (SHO equivalent), 2 FY1 and 2 FY2 trainees, and one general paediatric registrar.
The post holder will manage ward care of general paediatric in‑patients, liaise with paediatric sub‑specialities, paediatric A&E, hospital and community multidisciplinary teams, review and discuss referrals, and cover on‑call duties as per rota. Opportunities also include attending clinics and covering sub‑specialty patients.
