West London NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Trust doctor to join the West London Forensic services, based at St Bernard's Hospital Ealing. You will work under supervision to provide front-line mental health assessment and care within a high secure setting.
The role requires full GMC registration, English language competence, and delivering care with professional behaviour. The post includes involvement in ward rounds, meetings and potential court reporting.
You will be joining a well- established multi- disciplinary clinical team providing care across one ward. The wards are commissioned to provide care for individuals with mental disorders who require treatment in conditions of medium or low security. The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of a consultant forensic psychiatrist to provide effective, responsive, caring and safe treatment for the women. Your role would be, together with the Responsible clinician providing front-line mental health assessment and care including attending ward rounds, CPA meetings, community meetings and reflective practice, as well as opportunity to provide written an oral evidence for courts and tribunals., The Candidate Pack provides an overview of the key tasks and responsibilities of the role, and the person specification outlines the qualifications, skills, experience and knowledge required. The salary range for this post is £55,355 - £67,325 per annum plus London Zone Weighting., £55,355 to £67,325 a year per annum plus London Weighting
