Job description

As Trust Data Manager, you will:

• Lead and continuously improve Trust-wide data systems and compliance.
• Ensure GDPR adherence and robust data governance across all sites.
• Integrate MIS, safeguarding, HR, and finance systems to streamline operations.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools that support strategic decision‑making.
• Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer, IT, and school teams to embed a culture of data ethics and excellence.

This is a senior operational role requiring exceptional analytical ability, technical expertise, and the ability to influence best practice across diverse professional teams.

What We're Looking For

• A degree in Data Science, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing data systems in a multi‑site organisation or MAT.
• Expert knowledge of UK GDPR and data protection legislation.
• Strong technical skills in data analysis, system integration, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the education sector, particularly in SEND or alternative provision, is desirable but not essential.
