Job summary

Protyre Autocare, part of the Micheldever Group, is recruiting a Truck Tyre Technician for its onsite team. You will fit and repair tyres on commercial vehicles, ensuring safety and high standards while delivering great customer service.

Essential: Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months. You will work in a busy workshop, maintain accurate records and raise any additional faults to customers or management. Ongoing training and career development are provided.

Qualifications

• Full clean UK driving licence held for at least 6 months.
• Experience as a tyre fitter or mechanic in a professional workshop.
• Ability to work in a busy team and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Complete refitting and repairs on commercial vehicles.
• Work safely and comply with health & safety regulations.
• Only work on products/services you are trained/assessed for.
• Maintain accurate documentation per company policies.
• Flag any additional faults to customers or management.

About the role

Ensuring you do not work on any product or service that you have not been assessed as competent in or trained to conduct.

Maintainaccuratedocumentation in line with company policies and procedures

Making customers and/or management aware of anyadditionalfaults found on thecustomersvehicle.

About you

Previousexperience as a commercial or agricultural tyre fitter / mechanic

Experience in a professional workshop environment

Ensure the work is carried out in line with Company policies and procedures

The ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment

The willingness to constantly learn and improve your knowledge

The ability to act on your own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of your work

Full valid Driving Licence
