Job description
Overview

We are looking for a Truck Franchise Process Analyst to support network development and training. Reporting into the Head of Network Development and Training you will foster a Daimler Truck dedicated network by providing data, intelligence, and guidance to both office and field based team members.

Responsibilities
  • Management of mergers or start-ups in close cooperation with Network Development Manager.
  • Cross‑functional coordination for creation and adjustment of processes and policies on network development topics.
  • Collaborate with both Network Monitoring Specialist and Network Development Managers as well as counterparts with Daimler Truck UK / Daimler Truck Head Quarters.
  • Translate BER Standards into plain English in alignment with Daimler Truck UK and Daimler Truck HQ functions.
  • Shape policies around the minimum standards for the dealer network.
  • Publish latest Standards for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Executive Team with delivery of information to dealer network and Daimler Truck AG through presentation materials and reports ensuring consistency and accuracy of data.
  • Research and analysis on activities of competitors (existing and new) based on publicly available information.
  • Intelligence management for team and wider business incl. accountability to updating information on dealers (ExtraNet etc.) as well as managing requests by business.
  • Align findings with Network Monitoring Specialist and Network Development Managers as well as counterparts in Sales and Customer Services and Parts.
  • Create reports for senior management to represent current status.
  • Work with District Managers teams and Network Development Managers to ensure maintenance of accurate staff databases and operating management selection and screening processes.
  • Develop and maintain tools to simulate potentials of market areas and services.
  • Analyse costs and effort to franchise in comparison with benefits; create business plan for potential changes and newcomers.
  • Analyse truck dedicated processes within dealer network, new potential services within service network to create higher customer satisfaction and financial viability of franchisees.
  • Produce reports on current activity status with dealer network on respective platforms.
  • Manage special projects within department to ensure positive development and improvement.
Qualifications
  • Graduate or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of dealership operations.
  • Experience in the (commercial) automotive industry preferred.
  • Analytical ability to highlight and interpret key trends, processes, complex operational, and financial KPI's.
  • Organisational skills for processes and data.
  • Proficient in OptiNet preferred.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programmes, with strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Proficient in PowerBI.
  • Commercial acumen and experience.

Work Arrangement

This is a full time hybrid role where you would be required to work from our head office based in Milton Keynes a minimum of two days a week in the office.
