A healthcare organization in St Leonards is seeking a full-time Triage Coordinator to support clinical teams and manage administrative processes. Candidates must have experience in General Practice and possess strong organisational and communication skills. This role involves liaising with team members and external agencies to enhance patient care, while also performing leadership duties during the manager's absence.
To be responsible for supporting the clinicians in managing the triage process. Respond to clinician direction, offer patient feedback and advice as instructed. Undertaking a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties and the provision of administrative support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to, the processing of information (electronic and hard copy) in a timely manner, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers and in accordance with current policies. To support the Triage and Reception Manager; undertake tasks as directed; coordinate and delegate tasks to administrators; deputise in the absence of the manager, in addition to undertaking some leadership duties such as: managing staff sickness, supervision, induction, training and performance as directed. HRH monitor the use of AI during the recruitment process.
