THE EMPLOYER IS: MID & EAST ANTRIM COMMUNITY ADVICE (Larne).Community Advice Mid & East Antrim (CA MEA) is offering opportunities for 2 Triage and Admin Assistants to join our Larne team supporting clients across Mid & East Antrim. This role is designed for someone seeking hands-on experience in a busy advice service, with a strong focus on client support, administration, and personal development.The Triage and Admin Assistant will play a key role in helping clients access the right support quickly and efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for many clients, providing a welcoming and professional service both in person and over the phone. You will assist with booking appointments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting advisors with day-to-day administrative tasks.This is a varied role that offers insight into the workings of a community advice service, including welfare rights, debt advice, and foodbank-based support. You will gain valuable experience in customer service, data handling & administration, safeguarding, and working with vulnerable people. The placement includes structured training, regular supervision, and opportunities to shadow experienced staff. The role is suitable for someone with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and an interest in helping others. It may lead to further opportunities in advice work, administration, or community support roles.
