Job summary

The Real Greek in Liverpool is seeking a Bar Team Member to join our busy team. You will deliver friendly customer service, prepare drinks to our high standards, and support the smooth running of the bar during service.

With flexible hours and opportunities for progression within the company, this role offers hands-on training and a supportive team environment as you contribute to memorable dining experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Previous bar experience preferred.
• Calm and able to work under pressure.
• Clear and prompt communication.
• Flexible with tasks and working hours.
• Being punctual on rostered hours.
• Team oriented and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in Day-to-day management of the Bar.
• Ensure that the bar is operated in a smooth and professional manner by following the Manager of Duty requests.
• Follow and complete required daily checklists.
• Support and communicate regularly and effectively with team members and the Restaurant Manager.
• Assist in ensuring all bar stock levels are managed and accounted for with minimal wastage.
• Ensure the bar area is clean and tidy at all times.
• Support waiters and runners when needed by helping to deliver food and drinks.
• Greet and welcome new customers by following existing Real Greek standards.

Responsibilities of Bar Team Member

Assisting in Day-to-day management of the Bar

• Ensure that the bar is operated in a smooth and professional manner by following the Manager of Duty requests

• Follow and complete required daily checklists

• Assist in ensuring all bar stock levels are managed and accounted for in an efficient manner while keeping wastage to a minimal level

• Ensure the bar area is constantly in clean and tidy state

• Support waiters and runners when needed by helping to deliver food and drinks

Food Quality, Presentation and Hygiene

• Ensure that all drinks to customers is prepared with the freshest ingredients and to ‘The Real Greek’ standard

• Ensure that all drinks are served in guidance of time expectancy

• Report any issues with drink quality and freshness from suppliers to the Restaurant Manager

• Follow the stock labelling (DOT system) and rotation system (FIFO) to ensure the products are clearly labelled and used in the correct order

• To be aware of correct storage of all drinks
