About the Role

An exciting opportunity to join a leading international Lloyd's broking house as a Treaty Broker specialising in Life, Accident, and Health reinsurance. You'll be part of a dynamic, expanding team, managing client relationships and placements across global markets.

This role offers genuine autonomy, flexibility, and exposure to complex treaty business, supported by a management team that values initiative and minimises bureaucracy.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage relationships with clients and reinsurers across Life, Accident, and Health treaty portfolios.
  • Structure, negotiate, and place treaty reinsurance programmes within the Lloyd's and international markets.
  • Collaborate with internal analytics, technical, and wordings teams to ensure efficient placement and contract certainty.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities and supporting senior brokers with renewals and new placements.
  • Represent the firm professionally in client meetings, negotiations, and market events.
About You
  • Proven experience in Treaty Reinsurance (Life, Accident, Health, or related classes).
  • Strong technical knowledge of reinsurance structures and market practices.
  • Excellent communicator, capable of building and maintaining strong client and reinsurer relationships.
  • Self-driven and proactive, able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Comfortable attending the London office at least two days per week.
