Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead the delivery and ongoing development of our community treatment services. Working collaboratively with the Community Treatment Project Manager and the wider Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will play a pivotal role in shaping high‑quality, person‑centred care. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of community treatment across the Hull service, covering opiate, non‑opiate, and alcohol treatment teams. You will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight, managing a team of dedicated leaders to ensure excellence in service delivery. Responsibilities
- Full‑time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part‑time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
- As Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality drug and alcohol treatment services aligned with the city’s strategic priorities.
- Driving Strategic Delivery: Lead the implementation of the drug and alcohol plan, ensuring objectives are met and communication remains clear and effective at all times.
- Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with the SLT to deliver a responsive and effective treatment service.
- Building Strong Partnerships: Develop and review operational pathways with external partners to ensure seamless access and continuity of care.
- Championing Feedback: Embed service user and staff feedback into service improvements, ensuring stakeholder experiences shape ongoing development.
- Leading Teams to Success: Provide line management, supervision, and inspirational leadership to achieve performance targets in line with contractual requirements, organisational priorities and national government ambitions.
- Lead Service Evaluation and Development: Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of service performance, ensuring continuous improvement by actively engaging and consulting with service users throughout the development process.
- Operational Leadership: Manage a team of dedicated leaders across multiple treatment areas, providing strategic oversight and guidance to maintain high‑quality service delivery and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven Expertise: Significant experience working within substance misuse services, with a clear understanding of delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care.
- Change Management Skills: A solid grasp of how individuals experience change and the ability to support them through the process.
- Influential Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Operational and Project Management: Experience in managing service development and leading operational delivery, ideally within substance misuse or health and social care settings.
- Contract and Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with contracts, service agreements, and delivery systems to ensure services meet regulatory and contractual standards.
- Team Management: Demonstrated experience in staff supervision and building high‑performing teams.
- Results‑Driven Approach: Ability to meet challenging targets and deadlines while working within financial constraints.
- Risk and Care Planning: Experience in risk assessment and treatment care planning to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
