The candidate should have complex UK corporate tax experience with treasury tax exposure, strong leadership skills, and the ability to guide on financing, M&A and debt restructuring projects within a Big 4 network.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT or CA with relevant experience in corporate Treasury tax.

Responsibilities

• Advise on UK loan relationships and derivative contracts, including Disregard Regulations.
• Advise on Corporate Interest Restriction, Anti-Hybrids, Distributions and Withholding Tax.
• Provide senior technical input into M&A, financing, refinancing and debt restructuring projects.
• Support audit teams, tax authority enquiries and complex compliance/advisory assignments.
• Act as senior technical adviser to Corporate Tax teams and clients, translating legislation into practical guidance.
• Build relationships with senior clients and colleagues across the UK and wider Big 4 network.
• Lead technical discussions, develop junior talent and contribute to training and knowledge sharing.
• Help grow the Treasury Tax proposition and develop new client relationships.

Treasury Tax Senior Manager
Leeds or Manchester (2 days per week in office)

We are currently working with a leading professional services firm in Leeds & Manchester who are looking to bring in an experienced Treasury Tax Senior Manager.

At Senior Manager level, this role is suited to someone who has already had experience or significant exposure working on treasury tax projects.

Your new role:

• Advising on UK loan relationships and derivative contracts, including the Disregard Regulations.
• Advising on related areas including Corporate Interest Restriction, Anti-Hybrids, Distributions and Withholding Tax.
• Providing senior technical input into M&A, financing, refinancing and debt restructuring projects.
• Supporting audit teams, tax authority enquiries and complex compliance and advisory assignments.
• Acting as a senior technical adviser to Corporate Tax teams and clients, translating complex legislation into clear, practical and commercially focused advice.
• Building strong relationships with senior clients and colleagues across the UK and wider Big 4 network.
• Leading technical discussions, developing junior talent and contributing to training and knowledge sharing.
• Helping to grow the Treasury Tax proposition, identifying opportunities and developing new client relationships.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Suitable qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT, CA)
• Complex UK corporate tax experience working with large clients
• Experience across Treasury Tax, financing, loan relationships and/or derivatives
• Strong UK corporate tax backgrounds are considered for those who want to specialise in treasury tax
