Job summary

Cameron Kennedy is seeking a Treasury Manager to lead the custody and asset servicing Treasury function in London. This hands-on management role covers daily cash and liquidity across currencies, funding behind settlements and corporate actions, and leading a small team through high-value, time-critical payments.

You will own cash forecasting, reconciliation, FX exposures, and manage client money risk within a regulated framework, reporting to the Deputy Head of Operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in treasury, FX, custody or asset servicing within a regulated environment.
• Working knowledge of CASS rules is essential.
• Proven track record of leading people.
• Liquidity and cash management, FX products, securities settlement and institutional cash flow.
• Ability to present to governance committees.

Responsibilities

• Daily global cash and liquidity across multiple currencies, and funding behind settlements and corporate actions.
• Lead a small team handling CHAPS, Faster Payments, SWIFT, BACS and SEPA, plus fund trade execution and same-day confirmation.
• Cash forecasting—reviewing and challenging team outputs to stay within limits.
• Reconciliation and break resolution across the payments book.
• Manage FX exposures within risk limits and nostro/correspondent banking relationships.
• Maintain a robust control environment for liquidity, market, counterparty and operational risk.
• Develop the treasury team and represent treasury to leadership committees.

Treasury Manager — Custody & Asset Servicing

Lead the treasury function for a London custody and asset servicing business.

This is a hands‑on management role. You'll run the daily cash and liquidity position across multiple currencies, own the funding behind securities settlement and corporate actions, and lead a small team through a high-value, time‑critical payments flow.

Client money and CASS sit at the heart of it.

What you'll own

• Daily global cash and liquidity across multiple currencies, and the funding behind settlements, corporate actions and client transactions
• A small team handling CHAPS, Faster Payments, SWIFT, BACS and SEPA, plus fund trade execution and same‑day confirmation with external managers
• Cash forecasting — reviewing and challenging what your team produces, keeping accounts within limits
• Reconciliation and break resolution across the payments book
• FX exposures against approved risk limits, short-term investment and borrowing, and the nostro and correspondent banking relationships
• The control environment — liquidity, market, counterparty and operational risk, including client money diversification limits, with KRIs and KPIs to management
• Developing your team, and representing treasury to leadership committees

What you'll need

• Treasury, FX, custody, securities services or asset servicing experience in a regulated environment
• Working knowledge of the CASS rules — essential, not desirable
• A genuine track record of leading people
• Liquidity and cash management, FX products, securities settlement, and institutional cash flow aligned to trade cycles
• The confidence to hold your own in front of a governance committee
