Job summary

Synthomer is seeking a detail-driven Treasury Accounts Assistant to join the finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will gain exposure to treasury operations, cash management and receivables financing while working with large datasets and key stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities include running reports, reconciling accounts, and producing insightful analysis, with a focus on accuracy and process improvements in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Finance, Accounts, Treasury or a similar role.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
• Confidence handling large volumes of financial data.
• Proactive and organised approach to work.
• Good communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Running reports from SAP and other ERP systems to analyse receivables data.
• Supporting receivables discounting and factoring activities.
• Reconciling accounts, banking statements and financial records.
• Producing insightful analysis and reporting.
• Monitoring cash movements and preparing financial journals.
• Supporting month-end processes, audits and account reconciliations.
• Maintaining customer credit limits and factoring availability.
• Working with Finance, Credit Control and Shared Service teams.
• Assisting treasury-related projects and process improvements.
