Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Treasury support role to assist the Group Treasury in delivering services across the group and to external stakeholders. The role covers day-to-day cash management, banking needs, cash journals, and weekly cash flow forecasting.

You will maintain intercompany loan records, sign documents, manage bank mandates, and liaise with Legal and Company Secretarial. The position also involves hedging records and month-end support.

Qualifications

• A-levels or equivalent educational background.
• AAT is advantageous for the role.
• Desire to study ACT or accounting qualification.
• Experience with Microsoft Office packages.
• Experience of an office environment.
• Adept written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated team-player with good communication.
• Well organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure and prioritize workload.
• Hands-on, proactive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the Group Treasury team and Head of Treasury in delivering services across the group and to external stakeholders
• Support day-to-day cash management, transactional activities, and banking needs
• Book daily cash journals and update weekly cash flow forecasts
• Update and manage filing systems
• Receive, check, collate, and obtain authorisation for payments from businesses
• Maintain intercompany loan information, documentation, approvals, and central records
• Set up payments and sign intercompany loan documentation
• Manage bank mandates and update central records
• Monitor the board calendar and communicate Treasury information to Company Secretarial
• Record hedge trades, maintain records, and liaise with the confirmations team to match trades with the bank
• Manage relationships with Legal, Company Secretarial, local Finance Managers, and relationship banks
• Operate the guarantee administration process for Trade Finance
• Support the Treasury Analyst with month-end accounting
• Provide cover for the Treasury Analyst and support ad-hoc activities and projects
