Job summary

Westcon-Comstor, Cirencester office, is seeking a friendly Treasury Assistant on a fixed term maternity cover to join our Treasury Operations team. You will support daily cash management, assist with payments and month-end processing, and contribute to hedging and balance sheet activities.

The role requires strong numerical skills, high analytical ability, intermediate Excel, and the ability to work both remotely and in-office during hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• Accounting/finance experience (eg.AP and/or AR).
• Competent user of MS Office with emphasis on Excel at an advanced level.
• Highly numerate and analytical.
• Exemplary attention to accuracy.
• Clear, articulate communication - written and verbal.
• Ability to engage and manage relationships effectively.
• Independent worker - focussed and self-disciplined in working remotely.
• Desirable knowledge of SAP.

Responsibilities

• Support the Treasurer and Treasury Analyst in daily balance sheet and back-order hedging.
• Ensure month end processes for Treasury activities are carried out to timelines.
• Review and validate Treasury related balances.
• Assist with banking audits and Year End financial audits.
• Develop and optimise Treasury systems for operating efficiencies.
• Support audit process.
• Assist the Treasury manager and Treasury Analyst with other work as necessary.
• Support Finance Shared Services in relation to Treasury.
