Job summary

Cencora, ABFinco unit, is seeking a Treasury Accounting Lead to head ABFinco’s treasury accounting, reporting and controls. You will own monthly US GAAP management accounts, oversee hedge accounting, and manage the Kyriba-SAP integration while coordinating with Group Finance, Tax and external auditors.

The role requires a qualified accountant with 7–9 years' post-qualification experience, deep knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, and proven leadership in a multinational setting.

ABFinco is Cencora's international in house bank, acting as the central cash pooling and intercompany financing entity for international subsidiaries across Alliance Healthcare, World Courier, and PharmaLex businesses. ABFinco administers intercompany loan accounts across 102 entities in over 40 countries and 10 active currencies. **Position Summary** The Treasury Accounting Lead heads up ABFinco’s treasury accounting, reporting and controls, supporting the insourcing of treasury operations from a third party provider. The role owns monthly management accounts under US GAAP and IFRS, SAP ERP integration, Kyriba TMS accounting implementation, hedge accounting under ASC 815 and IFRS 9, and the statutory audit. It manages the Senior Treasury Accountant and analysts and partners with Group Finance, Tax, Legal and external auditors. **Key Responsibilities** **Management Accounts & ERP Reporting*** Own monthly US GAAP management accounts, revaluing all loan, bank and FX positions using Group FX and Bloomberg forward rates, and fully reconciling records to Kyriba before reporting.* Deliver the complete and accurate Kyriba to SAP ERP LOADFILE to Group by WD3, covering journals for all treasury transaction types.* Manage intercompany funding activities, including loan administration, funding requirements, interest calculations, settlements, and coordination of related Treasury documentation.* Issue IC loan and deposit statements with accrued interest to counterparties by WD2 to support subsidiary reporting and reconciliation, and distribute monthly bank, IC loan position and FX MTM reconciliation reports to all Group stakeholders on schedule.* Review reconciliation between Kyriba to SAP, help resolve differences and maintain complete supporting documentation.**Hedge Accounting*** Manage month end MTM reporting and adjustments for all balance sheet FX hedges and back to back deals, ensuring spots, forwards, swaps and liquidity swaps are accurately posted in Kyriba and integrated into SAP.**Statutory Audit & Compliance*** Lead the ABFinco statutory audit from commencement to final sign off, preparing all schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation for the statutory accounts.* Ensure accurate, timely reporting and maintain the Treasury Controls Framework so accounting controls meet or exceed SOC1 SSAE Type 2 standards.**Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management*** Lead and develop the Senior Treasury Accountant and Cencora SSC Treasury analysts, while serving as the primary international treasury accounting contact for Group Finance, Tax, Legal and IT.* Liaise with International Controllers, entity controllers, tax team around cash pooling and interest rates.* Advise on treasury accounting for cash repatriation, refinancings and entity restructurings, and manage Kyriba and SAP static data -including counterparties, entity structures and posting rules -through Group approved change controls.**Manage Implementation of Treasury Projects*** Enhance the effectiveness of the global cash pool by continuously monitoring the new participating entities and new cash pool bank accounts.* Execute the transition plan for insourcing activities of all Treasury activities from the third party service provider.* Collaborate with Tax, Treasury & Legal to implement in house banking and the multi notional cash pool with international entities.**Systems & Technology*** Own Kyriba accounting and reporting configuration, maintaining posting rules, FX revaluation parameters and report templates.* Manage and validate the Kyriba to SAP GL interface for IC ZBA and loan postings, interest accruals, FX MTM, bank fees and hedge accounting entries, supporting the Treasury Systems & Controls Analyst to maintain system integrity and audit readiness across Kyriba and SAP..**Experience, Education and Skills Requirements*** Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, or CPA with 7–9 years of progressive post qualification experience. ACT (AMCT or MCT) or CTP is preferred.* Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 815, ASC 830) and IFRS (IFRS 9, IAS 21, IAS 39) as applied to treasury and financial instruments.* Proven expertise in hedge accounting - designation, documentation, and effectiveness testing - in a multinational corporate environment.* Experience managing month end treasury accounting close processes, including ERP integration and management account preparation.* Prior experience managing a statutory audit process for treasury entities.* Strong knowledge of treasury management systems and relevant controls framework, Kyriba implementation experience strongly preferred.* Experience working with SAP or equivalent ERP platform for GL integration and journal processing.* Demonstrated people leadership experience - managing and developing junior team members.* Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-currency financial information across multiple legal entities.
