Job summary

A charitable organization is seeking a Treasurer to oversee financial activities and prepare monthly reports. This is a long-term, unremunerated role based in Gloucester, with a flexible hybrid work model. Experience with charity accounting is advantageous. You will work alongside the current Treasurer during the transition period.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Monthly and SORP Annual Finance Reports.
• Oversee the financial activity of the charity with a £250k turnover.
• Assist in the changeover period with the current Treasurer.
• Support an accountant unfamiliar with Charity Accounting.
• Participate in the charity's overall governance.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Monthly and SORP Annual Finanace Reports from the cashbook stage.
• Oversee the Financial Activity of the local Charity with a £250k turnover.
• The current Treasurer will asist for a changeover period.
• Assistance will be given to an accountant not familiar with Charity Accounting.
• Participate with the Trustee Board over the overall running of the Charity.
