A charitable organization is seeking a Treasurer to oversee financial strategy and ensure sustainability. This voluntary role requires qualified accountants or senior finance professionals who are passionate about improving the lives of older people. The position involves managing finances, chairing meetings, and providing strategic guidance to the team. Flexibility in hours is available, making it a meaningful opportunity to impact the community positively.
Location: Hybrid with flexible arrangements
Commitment: 4 Board Meetings and 4 Finance Sub-Committee Meetings per year plus ad-hoc support
Type: Voluntary role. Reasonable expenses incurred in relation to trustee duties can be reimbursed, subject to prior agreement with the Chair or Chief Executive

Total yearly commitment: approximately 6 to 8 days with flexibility and remote options.
