Job description

Are you a skilled engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working outdoors, and travelling to different locations while helping deliver a cleaner energy future? Join us as a Travelling Wind Turbine Technician and play a key role in keeping renewable energy assets performing at their best.

At EDF power solutions, we’re powering an Electric UK and Ireland. Your work will help us turn that ambition into action – delivering renewable energy solutions that will power homes, businesses and communities for generations to come.

In this role, you’ll help onboard newly acquired turbines, support operational performance across our wind fleet, and contribute to the growth of renewable energy across the UK. Your technical expertise will help maintain safe, reliable generation while supporting our net zero ambitions.

The Opportunity

As a Travelling Wind Turbine Technician, you’ll take a leading role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving wind turbine assets across the UK. You’ll work on a variety of turbine platforms, share technical knowledge with colleagues, and support the successful integration of newly acquired turbines into our portfolio.

You’ll be based from our #Goole Service Centre in #EastYorkshire. For this role, you’ll live within 45 minutes of site, hold a full UK driving licence, and be willing to travel to other locations across the UK when required to support operational activities.

You’ll benefit from ongoing development opportunities, including technical and safety training, the chance to become a Multi-Skilled Authorised Technician, and opportunities to progress into Senior Authorised Person responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in one of the UK's fastest-growing industries.
