Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Butler/House Manager for a large family residence in London. The role requires a hands-on approach, strong management skills, and the ability to oversee multiple properties, including international homes. Candidates should have a European passport and ideally speak French or German. Flexibility to work long hours is essential, with expectations of travel abroad for up to 24 weeks a year.

Job description

Live-in (preferred) extremely experienced hands-on, IT savvy, silver service trained, driving Butler/House Manager for a large family residence mostly based in London BUT you need to expect to be abroad up to 24 weeks of the year including over Christmas/New Year and the Summer months - St Tropez, Gstaad etc.

A candidate with a European passport would be beneficial - as would speaking French or German.

Must be a confident driver, used to managing a team of housekeepers, scheduling rotas, overseeing maintenance of a large London residence and a number of international homes.

Hours are long so TBD - 8am to 9pm.
