Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to lead field projects, drive quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The role involves coordinating with the project Superintendent and trades, and traveling to training facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience managing a scope and multimillion-dollar projects.
• Journeyman or master license is preferred.
• Knowledge of IECC, ICC, and ASHRAE standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Basic computer and writing skills.

Are you ready to make an impact? As Power Design expands into mechanical work, we are looking for a Mechanical Foreman to play a critical leadership role in the success of our new projects. This means we’ll need someone to ensure all projects maintain a high level of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. To top it off, you’ll not only have access to innovative technologies in the field – including fully-equipped iPads – but you’ll also travel to our 16,000-square-foot training facility for customized training courses at our headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. • Work closely with project Superintendent and other trades, oversee the assigned scope, including the management of material and manpower
• Accountable for enforcing and promoting high quality and safety standards
• Utilize technology such as company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure the job gets done on time and exceeds customer expectations
• Supervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on designated scope

here’s what we’re looking for…

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Progressive Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leaders who love using technology and want a clear career path
• Skilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects
• Active journeyman or master license preferred
• Proficient knowledge of the IECC, ICC, and ASHRAE Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements
• Must have at least basic computer and writing skills

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $65,000 - $95,000 per year. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
