Job summary

Randox Laboratories invites a qualified joiner to join our Facilities team. The role covers maintenance of existing Randox sites and fit-out of new sites across the UK and Ireland, with travel required.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility. Responsibilities include managing stock records, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with building policies while supporting site development.

Qualifications

• Qualified joiner with site experience is essential.
• Experience on general building sites or fit-out environments is required.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and able to lift heavy objects.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across UK & Ireland.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
• Good timekeeping and ability to complete paperwork per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing Randox sites and assist with fit-out of new sites across the UK & Ireland.
• Keep stock records up to date for all materials.
• Assist sub-contractors visiting sites for maintenance work.
• Plan building works for extensions and alterations in collaboration with Facilities Supervisor.
• Raise material purchase requisitions promptly.
• Execute work schedules for general maintenance.
• Submit weekly job sheets for scheduling.
• Perform monthly site walk rounds and log external maintenance needs.
• Engage with Facilities Supervisor on audits and requests.
• Ensure training on equipment required for duties is up to date.
• Travel regularly to Randox sites across the UK & Ireland.
