Job summary

Maintech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Industrial/Commercial Electrician on a permanent basis for a Cannock-based independently owned firm. You will be out in the field providing installation, test and inspections, and remedial work across England and Wales.

The role is based in Cannock with nationwide projects requiring travel and occasional overnight stays. You will be paid door-to-door with a van, fuel card and tools provided, and you can work additional hours to boost income if desired.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification as a minimum.
• Test and inspect – Essential.
• Experience working within an industrial setting.
• 18th edition – preferable.
• ECS Card – preferable.

Responsibilities

• Installation, upgrades, and maintenance of industrial electrical wiring systems.
• Perform diagnostics using schematics, drawings and manuals.
• Troubleshooting, maintenance and repair activities.
• Occasional machine maintenance or diagnostics.
• Use a variety of testing equipment.
• Maintain records of repairs, parts used and labour time.
