Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Peripatetic Chef to support our care homes in and around the Maidstone region. You will help deliver high quality fresh food across multiple homes and teams, while maintaining an open and supportive approach to residents and staff.

The role emphasises balance between work and life, with travel between homes and a focus on nutrition, food hygiene, and a welcoming dining environment.

Qualifications

• NVQs/SVQs or City & Guilds equivalent.
• Experience with fresh seasonal food and nutrition awareness.
• Up-to-date food hygiene qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support several care homes in delivering high quality fresh food.
• Create a warm and welcoming environment within each home.
• Engage with residents to understand dietary needs and preferences.
