Job description

We are looking for a Teacher in Travel and Tourism! We have a range of exciting opportunities available, including permanent and maternity cover, with both full-time and part-time options.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver and develop teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles.
  • Take responsibility for the quality of teaching and related curriculum development that meets learner needs.
  • Assess learners’ progress in college or on work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.
Requirements
  • Enthusiasm, resilience and high motivation with literacy and numeracy to at least Level 2.
  • Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent). Level 4 teaching qualification required: Certificate in Education/PGCE/Bachelor of Education, or will achieve a Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within 3 years of appointment.
  • Relevant experience in the travel and tourism sector essential.
  • Relevant assessment qualifications: IQA/A1/V1 and evidence of current Continuous Professional Development.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong team player.
