Job summary

A leading UK tour operator is seeking an experienced travel consultant to work remotely. Your role will involve designing bespoke holidays throughout North America and Canada, utilizing your expertise to create memorable journeys. Successful candidates will be confident in using a GDS for flight bookings, and will possess strong sales skills and a passion for travel. The position offers a full-time contract, with an OTE package of £42,000 and exceptional travel perks, including free airline tickets.

Responsibilities

  • Quote and book flights using a GDS system.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Designing bespoke holidays throughout the USA and Canada, using your destination knowledge to craft memorable itineraries.
  • Converting enquiries into bookings by listening carefully, advising with confidence, and delivering a truly personal service.
  • Managing the full sales cycle – from first enquiry through to after‑sales care.
  • Building strong relationships with both direct customers and trade partners.
  • Using a GDS system to quote and book flights as part of your packages.
  • Working with energy, focus, and enthusiasm to exceed your targets.
Compensation & Benefits

Full‑time: 37.5 hours per week (Mon‑Fri 9‑5.30 or 10‑6.30; one Saturday in three 10‑4). Package OTE £42,000, with top earners significantly exceeding this. Exceptional travel perks, including two free airline tickets each year plus unlimited standby tickets.
