Travel and Tourism Lecturers
  • Location: West London
  • Salary: £32,455 to £45,260 per annum including London Weighting
  • Job Type: Full-time

We are excited to offer the opportunity for passionate individuals to join our Travel and Tourism team at the West London. This role involves teaching a variety of travel-related courses, focusing on the airline/aviation and hospitality industries, and preparing learners for successful careers in these sectors or for further education.

Day-to-day of the role
  • Teach Travel and Tourism courses to students, predominantly aged 16-19, from Level 1 to Level 5.
  • Engage and motivate young vocational learners to achieve their potential.
  • Develop and deliver interactive and engaging lesson plans.
  • Work closely with local employers at and around Heathrow Airport to ensure course relevance and to enhance employment opportunities for students.
  • Participate in the continuous development of the curriculum to meet industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area; a degree is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in the travel industry.
  • Some teaching or training experience, with a willingness to develop further in this area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate young learners.
  • Commitment to professional development, including undertaking a fully funded Level 5 teaching qualification at the College.
