Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic doctor to develop experience before applying for specialist training, or a trust-grade post to continue personal development in this area.

This post would suit a doctor gaining experience at the level of a second year foundation trainee in a friendly, energetic and ambitious hospital on the beautiful South Coast of England. The doctor would join a group of F1s, F2s, and CTs in Trauma and Orthopaedics.

Formación

• MBBS or equivalent.
• Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice.
• Evidence of commitment to continuing Professional Development - willingness to undertake relevant courses.

Responsabilidades

• Clinical duties include daily rounds of inpatients with the support of a Registrar/Consultant ward rounds and there will be opportunities to attend outpatient clinics and theatre sessions.
• The post holder will take appropriate responsibility for investigations and management of inpatients.
• The post holder will be expected to take part in our junior doctor rolling rota consisting of Surgical Nights, On Calls covering Orthopaedics/ENT and Normal Working Day shifts.
