Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust in Coventry is recruiting a Band 7 Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist to support the Trauma and Orthopaedic Therapy Team. You will lead clinical care, supervise staff, and help run the service in major trauma and orthopaedics.

You will develop training programmes, supervise students on placement, contribute to service development, and work with the Major Trauma Enhanced Care Unit, MDT, and the wider therapy team to ensure high quality

Qualifications

• Experience with major trauma and orthopaedic patients.
• Ability to supervise staff and students and conduct appraisals.
• Evidence-based clinical reasoning to plan treatments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the trauma and orthopaedic therapy service.
• Provide clinical supervision and training to staff.
• Deliver teaching to relatives, carers and other professionals.
• Work across the Major Trauma Enhanced Care Unit and MDT to ensure integrated care.
