Job summary

FearFree is recruiting for a permanent Triage role delivering trauma-responsive support to victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking. The post blends home-based and office-based work across a broad geographic area with travel for multi-agency meetings.

The role emphasises risk assessment, safeguarding, early intervention and effective partnerships with local authorities and third-sector agencies. Evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering trauma-informed support to vulnerable people.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and referrals using specialist tools.
• Knowledge of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-responsive triage and early intervention to service users of all ages and risk levels.
• Offer advice, guidance and emotional and practical support to service users and partners.
• Assess, manage and review risks using DASH, SOAG and RIC; provide safety planning.
• Make safeguarding referrals to Children’s or Adult Social Care, Mental Health Crisis Teams, MARAC.
