Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a resilient professional to provide essential, trauma-informed support within a specialised educational environment in Sussex. This temp-to-perm role offers a stable, guiding presence for children who have experienced significant adversity, with a daily rate of £89–£100 and potential progression to £23,000 per year.

Working hours are Monday-Thursday 08:30-15:30 and Friday 08:30-15:00, with no sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Must provide consistent, trauma-informed care and support to a group of students.
• Lead activities and supervise a small team.
• Monitor and record student progress and learning outcomes.
• Support teachers in curriculum delivery with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, trauma-informed emotional and educational support.
• De-escalate high-pressure situations and manage challenging behaviours.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster a secure environment.
• Implement professional boundaries to build student trust.
