Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Justice Worker for Willow Services in the Women’s Justice Centre. You will deliver trauma-informed, gender-specific interventions for women aged 18 and above under various statutory orders or voluntary engagement.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, undertake risk assessments, and contribute to safeguarding under adult protection legislation. The role requires PVG checks and alignment with our equality commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with mental health difficulties.
• Experience with risk assessment and adult protection.
• Knowledge of justice system and gender-specific issues for women.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• PVG scheme eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and group work interventions.
• Deliver community outreach support to women in the justice system.
• Contribute to assessment and management of risk.
• Work within adult support and protection legislation.
