Job summary

Stop Domestic Abuse is seeking a dedicated professional to support high-risk victims in Basingstoke. You will work with victims to access services, report to police, and keep families safe. The role involves risk assessments and coordinating with partners to meet each client’s safety needs.

Equal emphasis on safety planning and practical measures to help victims transition to safe living. This was a permanent, 37-hour per week post with DBS checks required.

Responsibilities

• Work with high-risk victims to help them access services, report to police and to keep them and their children safe.
• Undertake risk assessments and utilise progress measurement tools as appropriate.
• Work in partnership with victims and survivors to identify the needs of their children and support them to access appropriate services.
• Work directly with all key agency partners to address safety of high-risk victims and ensure safety plans are coordinated.
• Provide advice by telephone and face-to-face to assist victims and survivors to understand services and options.
