Transport Supervisor – Preston Brook, Runcorn

Logistics done differently. Ready for a change? Looking for a role you can develop into? We are looking for a Transport Supervisor to be based at Preston Brook, Runcorn alongside our customer Saint Gobain interior solutions. You will be working Monday – Thursday 13:30‑22:00 and Friday 11:30‑20:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day
  • Co‑ordinate the transport operations on site and on customer premises to meet both customer and company expectations.
  • Work closely with the onsite customer ensuring all operational requirements are met.
  • Maintain a health and safety presence on site and challenge non‑compliance.
  • Ensure vehicle defects are reported and actioned in a timely manner.
  • Ensure drivers comply with working time directive regulations and investigate any accidents/incidents in a timely manner.
  • Continually look to improve the service we provide, offering ideas and recommendations as necessary.
What you need to succeed at XPO
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills – you will be speaking regularly with various stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
