Qualifications

GXO is currently seeking a talented and driven Transport Supervisor to join us at our Doncaster site. In this role you'll ensure all shift activities are co‑ordinated with daily & weekly tasks achieved, making best use of available resources, through the effective motivation and leadership of colleagues to continually improve performance levels and quality standards.

This is a full time, permanent position, where you'll be working Tues­day to Sat­ur­day, 9am to 7pm.

Pay, benefits and more:

What you’ll do on a typical day:
  • You’ll ensure the efficient running of the operation and drive operational performance through development of site systems and operational processes.
  • Proactively motivate the team to achieve planned targets and deadlines by providing guidance and encouragement.
  • Ensure the operation achieves targeted daily and weekly KPIs through effective use of the planning/scheduling information available.
  • Ensure the department operates within the legal constraints of the site’s operators licence.
  • Ensure the operation complies with the Road Traffic Act.
