Role

Transport Planning Manager will be responsible for managing the transport planning team across the Lincoln and Nocton sites, ensuring that all transport activities run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and support the transport planning team to deliver on daily operational requirements.
• Oversee and coordinate vehicle and driver planning to ensure efficiency across all sites.
• Ensure transport schedules align with production and dispatch timelines.
• Lead and manage transport activities for the department.
• Monitor performance and compliance to maintain high standards of service.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and maximise efficiency within the transport function.
• Provide direction, motivation and support through management and leadership for the department.
• Attend departmental meetings as and when necessary.
• Utilise the Qargo and Transporeon systems to maximise driver and vehicle utilisation.
