TRANSPORT PLANNER - DEVELOPMENT PLANNING

You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality transport advice and technical outputs for a range of planning and development projects across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to further your career in a collaborative and supportive environment, working closely with a team of talented engineers, and clients to shape transport strategies for future developments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and contribute to Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans
  • Conduct site access appraisals, junction capacity assessments, and parking reviews
  • Assist with the production of transport chapters for Environmental Statements
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
  • Support senior team members with project management and proposal preparation
  • Analyse transport data using software such as TRICS, Junctions (PICADY/ARCADY), and TEMPro
ABOUT YOU
  • Some previous experience in a transport/development planning role in the UK
  • Strong understanding of the UK planning system and relevant transport guidance (e.g. NPPF, Manual for Streets)
  • Proficient in technical analysis tools and report writing
  • Educated to degree level in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to grow professionally
