Transport Planner - based Stoke on Trent

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Salary: £30,237 per annum

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday – weekly rotating 07:00-15:00, 10:00-18:00 and 14:00-22:00 (flexibility required)

Location: Stoke on Trent ST4 4EX

What does the role entail?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will

• Receiving data CSV files and importing into the Transport Management System
• Planning using Paragon software - working with 200 stores, 100 suppliers and outbases
• Good critical thinking skills, the ability to work in fast paced, changing environment
• Able to communicate at all levels, internally and externally – excellent people skills

What do we need from you?

• Transport Planning / Scheduling experience is essential
• Excellent knowledge of planning principles and experience of Paragon planning software
• Excellent IT skills including Excel and pivot tables
• A strong team player, with an eye for detail and a flexible approach
• Strong geographical knowledge of the UK
