Responsibilities

• Administration of lorry tachographs, vehicle insurance updates, tax changes, and OCRS score monitoring.
• Purchase order processing, invoice authorisation, and liaison with company insurers.
• Monitoring machinery and vehicle hours; arranging services, repairs, MOTs, oil samples, and maintaining related reports.
• Handling skip and RoRo bookings via calls and emails; ensuring delivery documentation and vehicle checks.
• Conducting quarterly driving licence checks and supporting general fleet compliance.

Transport Planner – The Role

As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising transportation strategies and schedules to ensure timely, cost‑effective, and sustainable movement of goods or people.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration of lorry tachographs, vehicle insurance updates, tax changes, and OCRS score monitoring
• Purchase order processing, invoice authorisation, and liaison with company insurers
• Monitoring machinery and vehicle hours; arranging services, repairs, MOTs, oil samples, and maintaining all related reports and rectification records
• Handling skip and RoRo bookings via calls and emails; ensuring delivery documentation and vehicle checks (inside/out, Sat Nav, height measuring) are completed with photos
• Conducting quarterly driving licence checks and supporting general fleet compliance
