Transport Planner

£42,500 + Bonus + Benefits

If you're an experienced Transport Planner seeking a new challenge within a leading temperature-controlled logistics operation, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business recognised for operational excellence and continued growth.

Working within a small, experienced team, you'll coordinate chilled and frozen deliveries across Ireland and the UK, ensuring routes are optimised and customer service standards remain exceptional. You'll also provide out-of-hours phone cover on a rotational basis, with all calls managed remotely.

The Role

• Plan and coordinate UK & Ireland routes and vehicle allocations
• Manage driver schedules while monitoring WTD and compliance
• Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and internal warehousing teams
• Respond to operational issues and provide weekend/on-call phone support (1 in 4)
• Maintain efficiency and service levels across time-critical chilled/frozen loads
• Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm

You Will Need:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Transport Planning
• Background in temperature-controlled or FMCG logistics preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and think on your feet
• Professional approach to driver and customer relationships
