Job summary

A UK-based transport company is seeking a skilled individual to manage the scheduling and allocation of work for HGV drivers. Ideal candidates will possess excellent knowledge of the Greater London area, communication skills, and at least three years' experience in the transport sector. Company Overview

JRL Environmental is a part of the JRL Group which encompasses 14+ divisions delivering bespoke solutions for the most complex construction projects. The company is a specialist within the haulage and waste sectors, with a fleet of over 100 HGV vehicles and depots nationwide.

Responsibilities

High quality scheduling and allocation of work to be completed daily across all collection modes i.e Skip, RoRo and grab trucks.

Controlling drivers throughout the day to monitor their progress and take necessary measures to ensure that the work is completed each day.

Daily use of operational system; Qargo TMS to ensure all work is completed.

Maintain driver records electronically and in paper format.

Qualifications and Experience

Excellent knowledge of the Greater London area and the challenges of planning routes across the UK, particularly within urban areas.

Self-motivated with a friendly and approachable manner.

Ambitious and confident with a real 'can-do' attitude.

Self-assured communicator, both verbal and written.

Work well under pressure and to set timelines in a professional manner, Full driving licence.

Transport Management CPC a major advantage.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

At least three years experience of working in the HGV, transport sector.
