Qualifications

  • Formal education in Transport Engineering, Geography or Transport Planning.
  • Experience in development focused transport planning.
  • Seeking professional membership (CIHT or ICE).
  • Excellent communication skills and work ethic.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and proactive initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Transport Notes, Statements, and Assessments.
  • Understanding of local and national policy and guidance.
  • Junction capacity modelling using Junctions software.
  • Traffic signal design and preliminary design of access and junction improvements.
  • Swept Path Analysis using AutoTrack.
  • Preparation of high-quality graphics using GIS packages or Corel Draw.

  • An understanding of relevant local and nationalpolicy and guidance.
